Internationale Thomas Mann-Tagung 2025: "150 Jahre Thomas Mann - Grenzgänge und Verwandlungen"
Tagung vom 5.-8. Juni 2025 in Lübeck 

Thomas Manns Leben war stark geprägt durch die politischen Ereignisse der ersten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts. Welterfolg und Emigration machten ihn zum Kosmopoliten und Vielreisenden.
Die internationale Tagung der Deutschen Thomas Mann-Gesellschaft widmet sich im Jubiläumsjahr sowohl Manns Entwicklung vom reichstreuen Konservativen zum Vernunftrepublikaner bis hin zum überzeugten Demokraten als auch seiner internationalen Identität. Dabei lässt sie nicht die eigenen stereotypen Vorurteile aus, vor denen Thomas Mann trotz der brasilianischen Abstammung und Einwanderungserfahrung seiner Mutter und eigener Migrationserfahrung nicht gefeit war.
